Siehe ex Baker. 5. Basically like I. persica, but with leaves up to 1.5cm wide, lacking the white margin. Flowers up to 6.5cm wide with spreading to almost horizontal falls (those of persica may be deflexed), violet to lilac-blue often with a darker falls blade, spring. Turkey, on rocky slopes and in alpine meadows up to 2000m. Alpine house or bulb-frame, fairly easy to grow.
