Filosella flagellaris). Mat-forming, 15-40cm tall, rather like H. aurantiacum but with the addition of long, robust, leafy stolons. Leaves mainly in rosettes, oblanceolate or spathulate, 3-13cm long, bearing long pale hairs on both surfaces, also fairly dense, starry hairs beneath. Flowerheads in clusters of two to six, yellow, red-striped in bud, about 2.5cm across, summer.
