Clump to mat-forming, spreading by stolons. Leaves rosetted, oblanceolate to oblong spathulate, 5-15cm long, more or less long-hairy, tapering gradually at the base, green or somewhat glaucous. Flowering stems about 30cm or more tall, with one to three leaves. Flowerheads pale yellow with a dark or pale involucre to 9mm long, up to fifty in corymbose cymes, summer. Much of Europe.
