One species of small perennial from New Zealand and southeastern Australia, including Tasmania.

Uses

Usually grown in the alpine house but reasonably hardy and worth trying on the rock garden or peat bed. Peaty soil that does not dry out is required and a sheltered, reasonably sunny spot. Propagation by division in late winter or after flowering, or by seed when ripe, or spring in a cold frame.
