Botanical Description

Tufted, forming small mats of prostrate stems to 10cm or more long. Leaves linear, 1.5-2.5cm long. Flowers widely bell-shaped, the tube banded with white and purple-blue, the lobes and large lobe-like folds bright pale blue, solitary, late summer and autumn. Central Nepal to southwestern China on open slopes at 3600-5500m.
