Botanical Description

with decumbent stems, the erect tips 5-12cm tall. Basal leaves broadly spathulate, up to 6cm long; stem leaves smaller. Flowers solitary, broadly funnel-shaped, 3cm long, the lobes palest blue to deep violet, the tube white within and green spotted, dark banded without. Oregon, Cahfornia, Nevada, up to 3700m in subalpine forest and alpine fellfields.
