ex Hook. Tufted, usually with a few ascending stems only, 20-30cm or more tall.
Leaves lanceolate to oblong-ovate 1.5-3cm long. Flowers to 3cm long, narrowly funnel-shaped, with small lobes, blue or purple-blue, solitary or in quite dense racemose clusters, summer. North America, Rocky Mountains to Minnesota, in damp places.
