Stems 2-10cm in height, sparsely hairy. Basal leaves two, much longer than stems, by l-2mm wide. Stems leaves up to 8cm long by 5mm wide. Flowers usually about four but up to ten, in umbellate clusters, yellow, 1.8-2cm across, on pedicels to 4cm long, with a dense tuft of hairs where it joins the perianth. Cyprus and Turkey, in open pine forest, deciduous oak forest and macchie at 600-1300m.
