Botanical Description

Stems 10-20cm high, curly pubescent. Basal leaves two or more, filiform, shorter than stems. Cauline leaves several, shorter. Flowers one to four or more, 2-3cm or more in diameter, yellow, green in bud, the tepals narrowly lanceolate. Turkey, Caucasus, Cyprus, Syria, Iraq and Iran, in limestone crevices, open steppe and hillsides.
