Botanical Description

Bulb to 2cm across, often with bulbils. Stem 4-10cm in height. Leaves three to four, lanceolate, alternate. Flowers usually one, pale pink, faintly checkered, open bell-shaped or flat, without scent. Tepals 2-3cm long, with a small pale nectary at the base. Style divided only at the apex. Capsule not winged. North-eastern Turkey in stony or peaty soil at 2000-3000m.
