Loosely mat-forming. Leaves lanceolate or spathulate, 3-7cm long, minutely stellate hairy. Flowers white, about 5-6mm wide, in racemes 10-20cm or more in height. North-eastern North America, in rocky places. Hardly worth a place on the rock garden.
