Stems to 35cm in height. Leaves oblanceolate, to 15cm long, often toothed. Flowers five-petalled, lavender to magenta with purplish stamens, the filaments transversely wrinkled, in umbels of two to ten. Southern Washington State to northern Oregon, in woodland and grassy slopes where moist in spring.
