Leaves simple, but borne in clusters, deciduous, oblanceolate to narrowly oblong, 1.5-2cm long, hairy beneath. Flowers bright yellow, in clusters of one to three, 1.2-1.5cm long, early summer. Eastern central Europe and Balkan peninsula, in open woods and dry grassland.
