ex Bornm. Corm tunic parallel fibre with some reticulation at apex. Leaves up to thirteen, l-2mm wide, grey-green, appearing with or soon after the flowers. Flowers about 12cm high, white with varying degrees of external striping and white throat, the style orange divided into three branches from a point in the throat, late autumn to winter. Jordan, on rocky hills at 600-700m. Little known in cultivation but will need glass protection.
