Botanical Description

Corm tunic membranous with basal rings. Leaves three to four grey-green appearing with the flowers. Flowers 5-6cm in height, small lilac or white heavily blotched externally on the base of the segments and a deep yellow throat, late winter to spring. Cyprus, on rocky slopes and in scrub at 1000-2000m. Fairly rare in cultivation and best in alpine house or bulb frame.
