Botanical Description

Height about 1m or more, spread to 2m or more. Stems erect to arching, flexuous, glandular pubescent. Leaves oblong to broadly elliptic, up to 1.5cm long, dark green and somewhat bristly-hairy above, paler and with longer hairs beneath, glandular denticulate. Flowers blue (varying from light to dark) in clusters to 2.5cm or more long, spring to early summer. California; dry slopes up to 1600m in scrub or forest. 1.5cm long, dark green and somewhat bristly-hairy above, paler and with longer hairs beneath, glandular denticulate.
