Wild Distribution: Chile and Argentina, from Patagonia southwards to Tierra de Fuego.

Botanical Description

Perennial herb up to 30cm tall, but often no more than 10cm, with sparse pinnate leaves, the terminal lobe suborbicular, larger than the rest, flowers white, 4-16, in compressed racemes that elongate with age, 14-16mm across (Nov-Jan in the wild). A showy species, often forming small clumps in damp scree or seepage areas.
