Botanical Description

from a branching rootstock, with erect stems 5-10cm in height. Basal leaves oblanceolate, crenate. Flowers pendent to almost erect, solitary, about 1cm long, funnel-shaped, mid-blue. Circum-arctic and subarctic to mountains further south, in stony places on limestone formations.
