to 60cm in height, sometimes more. Leaves 10-20cm wide, rounded to kidney-shaped, divided into five or seven lobes which are again cleft and toothed, deep green. Flowers white, small, in dense corymbs, summer to autumn. California to Washington State and Montana, in moist mixed and evergreen forest. Too large for the average rock garden.
