Tufted to clump-forming, 30cm or more in height. Leaves 3-8cm wide, rounded, shordy five to seven lobed and bristle-pointed toothed, more or less lustrous above. Flowers white, in very open panicles, summer. California to Washington State, in a variety of scrub and forest habitats.
