Botanical Description

Tight hummock-forming. The last of the three species with two stamens and of the four whose flowers are buried in the leaves. Insignificant, wee flowers barely 2mm long. Indeed, apart from the smaller corolla size, the main differentiation between this species and B. azorella is the pubescent stamen filaments of the latter. Argentina, Santa Cruz.
