Botanical Description

Similar to B. longifolia but the leaves and white flowers are slightly shorter and with five lobes just in evidence, though still extremely shallow. Leaf margins may be minutely ciliate in places, the calyx somewhat pubescent. The most southerly species from Argentina and Chile, Tierra del Fuego, Magellanes and Santa Cruz. [Pl.62]
