Authors:
Bulbs ovoid, usually in small clumps. Stems 15-30cm tall. Leaves about the same length as stems by up to 5mm wide. Flowers star-shaped, 1-1.8cm in diameter, white or pink, in umbels of six to fifteen, early summer. California, foothills of Sierra Nevada, up to about 1500m in moistish rocky and grassy places.
